  1. Above walkway: 10 ft. NEC 230-24(b).
  2. Above driveway: 12 ft. 15 ft. min. if voltage exceeds 300. 230-24(b).
  3. Above roadway & pools: 18 ft. 230-24(b), 680-8, exception.

  1. Pitch of less than 4-in-12: Min. 8 ft. clearance. 230-24(a).
  2. Pitch of more than 4-in-12: Min. 3 ft. 230-24(a), exception #2.
